I will have to read this one. He sounds like he agrees with Robert Wright "The Evolution of God" or more specifically, his book "NonZero". I am not sure I agree with the "getting better" idea as an unavoidable [fated] direction. But these are smart guys, so I should read them. Wow, I loved earlier books by Ridley.
